wat is het probleem.
ik heb thuis een server draaien met redhat 8.0
hierop apache, php en mysql
mysql is nu versie4.0.? (weet het zo niet uit mijn hoofd, kan vanaf het werk niet inloggen)
dit draait allemaal
wanneer ik nu een forum probeer te installeren, krijg ik bovenstaande foutmelding, het enige wat ik hierover kon vinden, is over de provider vuurwerk.
weet iemand hoe ik dit kan oplossen??

bedankt, ik kom nu al een stukje verderAdmiral Rob schreef:die error zegt dat je bij de installatie van het forum een databasetype hebt ingevuld die je niet hebt, je moet wel de goede invullen of installeren, anders blijf je de error houden.
loop nu tegen het volgende probleem aan
Je PHP configuratie ondersteund geen database systeem dat phpBB kan gebruiken.
terwijl php en mysql allebei draaien...

Dan kan phpBB de database misschien niet vinden, daar weet ik geen oplossing voor. Misschien heb je iets aan dit topic:

ga eens naar de link die wat verder naar onder staat
en download de phpbb versie 2.1 van vandaag
pak die uit upload hem naar een map op je server
start de index.php in die map op je webserver
de install loopt nu hij laat alle database's zien die hij kan vinden en ondersteund in
het groen
een pagina verder kan hij voor instaleren ook testen of hij contact kan maken met de gekozen database
echt instaleren kan je beter nog effe mee wachten tot veel dingen gemaakt zijn
maar je kan het gebruiken om tekijken waar problemen zitten waar install tegen aan loopt

Ik ben nu op een andere machine bezig met Mysql kijken wat die doet..
trouwens als ik die ; weghaal, en ik wil phpbb gaan installeren, dan gaat dat helemaal niet meer. Errug vaag allemaal. Ik krijg dan een 400 error (bad request). Zet ik de ; er wel weer voor, dan krijg ik wel het installatie venster te zien, maar dan verval ik weer in het oude probleem....
