Ej mensen ik heb plus 1.3 gedowlnoad en ik heb op dit forum ook de link gevonden voor de download van de nederlandse files.. die heb ik dus ook gedownload.. maar wat nu want ik snap er helemaal niks van... helup als je blieft

die nederlandse files moet je op de plek plaatsen waar ze horen.... dus

lang_dutch map in jouwsite.nl/language/....
images/lang_dutch in jouwsite.nl/templates/jouwtemplate/images/...

Gewoon effe in de mappen rondkijken kom vanzelf engels bestanden tegen daar kun je gewoon nederlandse bestanden bijgooien.... wel in andere map natuurlijk...

uhmm nou snap ik het nog niet...
want ik snap dat helemaal niet wat ik waar neer moet zetten ook de oude files niet en hoe ik het moet upgraden enzo...

kun je me effe vertellen van welke bestanden je niet weet waar je ze moet neerzetten.... ik ken phpbb Plus helemaal niet namelijk....

Dit zijn alle bestanden als je de map opent:
PhpBB2
Update
En dan 3 plaatjes en 2 html files met Engels READ THIS FIRST en de German READ THIS FIRST
Dan bij de Nederlandse taalpack:
LAnguage (map)
Modules (map)
stat_modules (map)
Template (map)
dan nog wat files
nickpage
nickpage_list
nickpage_admin
nickpage_vote
vi_divexpand
Dat is het... maar ik ga nog wel ff wat proberen... want er staat de leesmij van de nedrealndse taalapack.. kan ik die opvolgen zonder daarvoor een andere taal te hebben geinstaleerd?

Bij READ THIS FIRST staat er dit:

Upgrade from existing phpBB 2.0.6
If you are already using Mods in your Forums that required Database Changes you may have problems installing this version. The included Database Update tool only creates fresh tables for the Mods and does NOT update any existing MODs you are using to the latest version. So what does that mean ? If you are running a phpBB 2.0.5 with for example Attachment Mod 2.3.5 or Lower you first have to update your Database to the Attachment Mod 2.3.8 that is included in phpBB2 plus. Check the directory docs/mods for information on the versions that are used in phpBB2 plus. If you have no Mods in your Forum that required Databse Changed just ignore this and go on.

Backup all your Data ! All Files from your FTP and also your SQL Database ! Don't cry if something goes wrong and you have no Backup !

Unzip the phpBB2 plus zipfile to a directory on your local harddisk

Upload only the File update/update_phpbb206_to_plus13.php to your existing phpBB2 Directory on the webserver

Login to your Forum as Administrator

Now open the File you uploadet before in your browser (http://your.forums.com/phpBB2/update_ph ... plus13.php)

You should see that additional tables are created now (Added/Updated)

Download the file config.php from your existing phpBB2 Forum and put it in a secure place (You need it later !)

If you used the attachment mod before you should backup your /files directory now. Also backup the users avatar directory which is images/avatars to use them later again.

Did you already Backup your old Data ? If not, now it's the last chance to do it !

Delete all Files of your old forums now (If you have own templates, images or graphics backup them first)

Copy all Files from the phpBB2 directory of the phpBB2 plus 1.3 package to your Webserver (including directory structure)

Copy the file config.php that you backup'd before to your phpBB2 Dir on the Webserver (overwrite the one that exists)

Delete or rename the directory /install

Change Permissions (CHMOD) to 777 on the directorys /files and /images/avatars and album_mod/upload and album_mod/upload/cache

Upload the "old" avatars and maybe files directory to your new Forum

Use the new Forum

Goed nog geen antwoord... ik heb het dus wel gevonden... ik moest dus die files die er niet stonden er aan toe voegen.
Maar nu het volgende probleem als ik naar http://members.lycos.nl/leliveldrick/phpBB ga dan krijg ik dit

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?

KAN IEMAND MIJ HELPEN

ben er weer .....

ik heb zelf geen ervaringen met "gemodde" forums zoals phpbb plus etc...

Maar ik advieseer je toch om gewoon een standaard forum te downloaden van phpbb.com en die aan te passen naar jouw wensen....

Er zijn meer dan 500 mods beschikbaar op http://www.phpbbhacks.com/

Op phpbb.com zelf zijn meer dan 20 styles beschikbaar.....

Op http://www.forumimages.com/ zijn ook nog erg veel plaatjes te downloaden die je kunt gebruiken.... ook smileys en avatars...

met een combinatie van die drie dingen, mods, styles en extra plaatjes etc kun je een uniek forum maken....

Zo zie ik het tenminste...

Ik kan je wel verder helpen maar ik denk dat dit iets gemakkelijker gaat via msn dus voeg me maar toe

Ik heb zo het vermoeden dat heel wat mensen de plus versie maar niets vinden ofwel hebben ze hun oordeel al klaar terwijl ze het niet eens kennen. Men denkt volgens mij ook te veel dat je de plus versie niet kan aanpassen naar je eigen wensen maar dat is niet waar, zelf heb ik deze ook volledig aangepast kijk maar naar de link naar m'n site in m'n profiel.
