Heb een nieuwe stijl geupload, maar ik kan hem vreemd genoeg niet installeren. Kan dit te maken hebben met het feit dat ik mijn standaard stijl heb ge-exporteerd, vervolgens de naam van de map veranderd en enkele instellingen in de .cfg bestanden en toen alles geupload?

Je moet in de 4 .cfg bestanden ook de naam van de stijl veranderen.

Dat heb ik gedaan (allemaal dezelfde naam). Kan het zijn dat rare tekens ( in mijn geval | ) er niet in mogen voorkomen?

Je kan altijd proberen het even te veranderen in een andere naam.

Als er bijv. staat:

verander je dit in:

Je moet echter ook de mapnaam prosilver veranderen in mijnstijl

Heb je deze aanpassingen correct uitgevoerd dan zou je de stijl zonder problemen moeten kunnen installeren.

Dus ik kan niet bijvoorbeeld de map stijl noemen en vervolgens dit in de .cfg zetten?

Jawel, maar je moet niet vergeten dat je het dan in álle .cfg files wijzigd dus:

style.cfg
imageset.cfg
template.cfg
theme.cfg

Dat is dus het gekke: alles is precies hetzelfde in die 4 bestanden, maar ik zie niets in het ACP.

Ook de buffer geleegd in het Beheerderspaneel?

Net geprobeerd, maar zonder resultaat.

Ik zou eens proberen om er een simpelere naam aan te geven

Heeft ook niet geholpen. Wat wel raar is, is dat als ik een andere stijl download hij hem wel pakt.

Misschien kan je de naam van je website weglaten en proberen en gewoon iets als: Rood van te maken?

Werkt ook niet.

De copyright verder in de bestanden verschillen (sommige origineel, andere aangepast)

Alles gelijk gemaakt, maar zonder resultaat.

Misschien moet ik gewoon een willekeurige stijl installeren en alle bestanden vervangen met de mijne?

Toch lijkt het er sterk op dat het niet exact hetzelfde is, dus ook de folder naam moet hetzelfde zijn...

Ik heb het probleem al gevonden. Blijkbaar werkt het exporteren van stijlen in het beheerderspaneel niet helemaal goed. Toen ik de map vanuit mijn FTP kopieerde en de naam veranderde, kon ik de stijl zonder problemen installeren.

Waren er bestanden vergeten dan tijdens het exporteren ?
Had het namelijk gisteren zelf even op die manier geprobeerd en werkte gewoon.
