Portal installeren lukt niet

  Wat is het probleem?

Wanneer ik wil gaan installeren, krijg ik het volgende te zien:

Ik heb dat portal eens gedownload naar mijn PC, heb de installatie instructies bekeken en heb wat rondgeneust op de site waar het te downloaden is.
De manier waarop het geinstalleerd moet worden is mij echter niet heel duidelijk geworden.
Ik vermoed dat je de bestanden van het portal niet op de juiste plek hebt geupload.

Ik krijg het idee dat je de bestanden van het portal (uit de portal folder /phpbb3/) naar de root van je forum moet uploaden en daarmee (een deel van) de bestanden van de verse phpBB 3.0.10 installatie moet overschrijven. Maar zoals gezegd is me dat niet 100% duidelijk geworden.
Ik zou op het forum van de site waar je het gedownload hebt de vraag stellen "Moet ik de bestanden uit phpbb3 uploaden naar de root van mijn 3.0.10 forum en daarmee de 3.0.10 bestanden overschrijven?"(E: "Do I have to upload the files from /phpbb3/ to the root of my board, overwriting the existing fresh phpbb 3.0.10 files?").

Have a phpBB 3.0.10 installed, or a 3.0.9 upgraded to 3.0.10 already (you can get it @ phpbb.com)!
Decompress the Portal_XL50_Premod-3.0.10.rar archive to a local directory on your system.
Upload all the files contained in directory \phpbb3\ of this archive (retaining the directory structure) to a web accessible directory on your server or hosting account.
Check if file config.php in your forum main directory is write able by all (777 writeable / 755 executable).
Change the permissions on the following directories to be write able by all (777 writeable / 755 executable within your FTP Client): /cache, /store, /files, /images/avatars/upload, /dl_mod/thumbs and all their subfolders, /dl_mod/downloads and all their subfolders, /gallery/images and all their subfolders, /phpbb_seo/cache, /gym_sitemaps/cache, /arcade, /arcade/gamedata, /arcade/games, /arcade/install, /images/att_thumbs, /images/img_thumbs and at least /images/counter/ip.txt.
Using your web browser visit the location you placed phpBB3 Portal XL with the addition of install_portal/ or browsing directly to install_portal/index.php, e.g. http://www.mydomain.com/phpBB3/install_portal/index.php etc.
Click tab "Install Basic" to install the basic portal first following the given steps. Do not log in through the portal before all steps heve been done! The installation script will guide you through all needed steps.
phpBB3 Portal XL should now be available.

In die instructie staat dus alleen:

Upload all the files contained in directory \phpbb3\ of this archive (retaining the directory structure) to a web accessible directory on your server or hosting account.

Dat is dus een willekeurige directory die via het web bereikbaar moet zijn. Er staat niet dat het naar de root van het forum geupload moet worden.

ik heb het geprobeerd en tis de root

en het volgende staat in de install

Make sure you did copy/upload/overwrite from archive all content of directory \root\ to your phpBB 3.0.x root eg. \forum\ only (you did already)!
