Activatie vereist ?
Heb ik gedaan via user dat die zijn account moet activeren. Heb toen een test account aangemaakt kijken of het werkt. Maar kreeg geen mail. Het is een hotmail account waar het over gaat.

Staan je emailinstellingen juist?

Heb dit gewoon gedaan:

Account activation:
This determines whether users have immediate access to the board or if confirmation is required. You can also completely disable new registrations.
Disable None By User By Admin

en dan heb ik by user gedaan, thats it voor de rest niks anders..

Ja, en wat staat er bij je email instellingen? Beheerderspaneel, tabblad algemeen, instellingen emails.
Emails toestaan moet sowieso ingeschakeld zijn, en er moet een geldig emailadres zijn ingevoerd bij antwoord- email adres. En wat heb je bij SMTP instellingen allemaal ingevuld?

Enable board-wide e-mails:
If this is set to disabled no e-mails will be sent by the board at all. Note the user and admin account activation settings require this setting to be enabled. If currently using “user” or “admin” activation in the activation settings, disabling this setting will require no activation of new accounts.

Users send e-mail via board:
Instead of showing the users e-mail address users are able to send e-mails via the board.
Disabled

Use SMTP server for e-mail:
Select “Yes” if you want or have to send e-mail via a named server instead of the local mail function.
