Ik heb deze hele rubriek goed doorgelezen, maar toch heb ik nog een vraag. Ik hoop dat iemand zo vriendelijk is om die te beantwoorden.

Mijn forum is gebouwd met phpBB2 Plus 1.52 ( http://www.phpbb2.de ). Er is een portal, waar talloze mods aan zijn toegevoegd.

Ik ben zeker van plan om up te gaan daten, maar toch weet ik nog steeds niet helemaal zeker wat de juiste methode is.

1. Via gewijzigde bestanden?
2. Via een patch?

Ik heb dus een portal met diverse mods. Ik ben geneigd om de patch-methode te kiezen. Maar hoe doe ik dit? Ik ben net met phpBB bezig en nu dus dit al. Een stapsgewijs antwoord wordt daarom zeer op prijs gesteld, want ik ben de weg even helemaal kwijt.

Ik ben ook eindelijk klaar (incl. de extra update op http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=336756

Ik had even een test-user aangemaakt om te kijken of het allemaal weer goed werkt. Die heb ik geregistreerd met een e-mailadres die verder nog helemaal niet in de database voorkwam.

Alles ging prima, totdat ik dacht "zo, werkt, dus die kan wel weer weg"
Naar het admin panel gegaan, test-user gezocht, vinkje aan bij "gebruiker verwijderen", OK

Vervolgens kreeg ik de melding "De hoofd Administrator kan niet worden verwijderd"

edit: de test-user die ik heb aangemaakt is natuurlijk een gewone 'standaard' user. Was puur alleen om even te testen

Voor deze ene keer dan, ben zelf ook nog mee bezig, stomme rot update, wordt er helemaal gek van, zorgt voor veel foute bij mij

@rhanff, komt inderdaad door die mod, en ik vermoed door een nieuwe wijziging in deze versie, maar weet dat niet zeker.

Ok dit word dus ook mijn eerste update zweet breekt me al uit maar goed. Als ik dus al die Files edit en vervang door de nieuwe dan ben ik klaar.

Heb nl. ook mods geinstalleerd. En die veranderingen die je in subsilver aanpas moet je die voor elk template doen ??

Moeten er ook nog files naar de server worden upgeload, of gewoon aanpassen en klaar ben je???

Hoop dat iemand ff een antwoord kan geven dan kan ik er aan beginnen.

Hoe veel mods heb je geinstalleerd? Want dit is zon grote update, dat je in veel gevallen je mods beter kan herinstalleren, als de code changes uit te voeren.

Nou niet zo heel veel maar even op een rijtje :

Welcoms pm (handmatig)
Easymod geinstaleerd
Users today toegevoegd (handmatig)
Today/ yesterdag toegevoegd (handmatig)
Add image to post toegevoegd

Dit zijn ze zo een beetje, en heb 3 templates erop staan.

Dan kan je het beste de changed files downloaden, en zelf de andere template aanpassen, en daarna de mods opnieuw installeren.
